I’m Peter Kuelker, and for the past six years, I’ve been dedicated to developing the EFXR Concrete Siding. My goal was clear from the outset: to create the ultimate exterior cladding solution. To achieve this, I established seven key principles:

I’m proud to say that we’ve met and exceeded all of these objectives. How did we accomplish this feat? Drawing from my 15 years of experience as an estate home builder in Calgary and my 35-year ownership of Stonetile (Canada) Ltd., I had a significant advantage from the start.

Of course, there were fortunate breakthroughs along the way. Extensive research into existing siding and manufactured stone products revealed a gap in the market for a superior solution to protect homes, multifamily buildings, and commercial projects.

My journey with Stonetile began in 1988. I personally spearheaded its development, secured patents, and obtained CCMC approval—a landmark achievement as the first siding product in Canada to receive such recognition. From designing and building master molds to establishing a unique manufacturing system, I nurtured Stonetile into a thriving business with a dedicated team.

Over 15,000 projects showcased the elegance of Stonetile’s European-inspired aesthetic and its mechanically fastened, 10mm rainscreen design. In early 2023, I made the decision to sell Stonetile to my employees, allowing me to focus entirely on launching the EFXR Concrete Siding project—an endeavor with boundless potential.
