About EFXR Wall Concrete Siding
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION AND FEATURES:
The EFXR product comprises three distinct patterns: Urostone, Quikclad, and Smartbrick.
Urostone simulates a natural stone appearance and is produced in 20 unique molds to prevent pattern repetition.
Quikclad offers a contemporary design and is manufactured in 10 different molds to avoid pattern repetition.
Smartbrick resembles authentic brick and is available with charcoal or grey joints.
All tiles measure 8″ x 18″, precisely 1 sq ft, with a thickness of approximately 3/4″.
Each tile features a concave and convex perimeter, facilitating self-draining joints, preventing visibility of building paper through the joints, and simplifying installation.
The tiles are constructed using local engineered 5mm concrete sand for superior strength and quality compared to lightweight materials like pumice or expanded clay.
Curing takes place in a 50°C heat chamber to ensure optimal conditions.
The tiles receive a Sherwin Williams vertical concrete stain coating.
They are packaged in manageable corrugated boxes (each weighing 60lbs, containing 8 tiles per box, and 288 tiles or sq ft per pallet).
Installation involves screwing the tiles with 1″ – #8 corrosion-resistant screws onto a minimum 3/8″ plywood or OSB, automatically creating a 10mm rainscreen airspace.
Customers have the option to choose between 90-degree corner tiles or mitered corners.
